About Amplifier

Amplifier Music Magazine is an independent digital music publication built around a simple idea: good music goes further when the stories around it are told clearly, creatively and responsibly.

Our coverage spans artists, new music, technology, the music business, live events, global developments and the Hampton Roads scene. We use modern research and publishing tools to move quickly, while keeping editorial judgment, sourcing and transparency at the center of the magazine.

Amplifier is designed to be national in reach and local enough to know what matters in Virginia and the Mid-Atlantic.
