AJ McLean is extending his solo run into 2027 while continuing to balance his own music with Backstreet Boys commitments.
The singer has added 15 North American dates to his Better Man Tour, beginning January 12, 2027 in Tracy, California and ending February 5 in San Diego.
The tour supports McLean’s upcoming album Sex, Love & Music, scheduled for November 27. The project follows My Name Is Alexander James, released earlier in 2026, and the September single “Into Your Heart.”
The extension comes during an active period for Backstreet Boys as well, with McLean participating in group residency and touring activity while continuing to develop his solo identity.
Amplifier Take: Legacy groups increasingly operate like creative ecosystems: reunion and residency work can coexist with individual projects instead of replacing them. McLean’s schedule is a clear example.
